Epic Blend Lip Balm Review & Giveaway!!

hello lovelies!

Today I bring you a Canadian company that sells all-natural vegan, hemp and moisturizing lip balms. Epic Blend claims to bring you high-quality products using top-shelf natural ingredients without harsh synthetics.

I like my reviews to be short and sweet - here's the DL on what they claim for each of the balms.

Hemp - Organic Hemp Seed Oil is a great anti-oxidant, super-nourishing and quickly absorbs deep into the skin cells.
More Moisture - Seven moisturizers, including Organic Shea Butter come together to provide an extra kick of moisture plus a boost of staying power.
Vegan - 100% plant-based and beeswax-free. We use all-natural food grade Candelilla wax, which gives these balms an incredibly smooth texture.
Neutrient-dense natural and organic ingredients. Petroleum-free, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Not Tested on Animals, Natural Flavours

They pride themselves on a smooth glide without "the greasies".

Here's my take on the products:

Epic Blend sent me A LOT of product. So I've had (and will continue to have) silky-smooth lips for the previous week and a bit.

Something that really impressed me was the outstanding amount of flavours/scents.

I didn't notice the flavour much. The amount of oil/butter in the balm kind of takes away from the flavour (though there is flavour, it's just very, very subtle). But the scent is amazing for these balms.
My favourite scents include cherry, green apple, grape, wild berry and citrus kick. I think layering these for "scent recipes" would be a fantastic idea. They smell divine!

Like I said above, my lips have been silky-smooth the last week and it's 100% because of these balms. I haven't used any other balms this week and my lips have never felt better. I'm very impressed. The amount of moisture is perfect, with a non-greasy texture and you feel the moisture seep into your skin, which is a key factor for me.

In comparison, Burts Bees is very waxy. I find the wax to contain the product grossly outweighs the moisturizing ingredients (especially the one in the little tin).

Eos - Don't even get me started on their products. I don't like them.

Vaseline - Probably my current second-favourite. Up until I tried these was my #1 because they provide fantastic protection against the elements. However, I don't find they moisturize much and repair any.

Case and point: these products work, they're chock-full of anti-oxidants and they're 100% natural. You have vegan options, hemp options and super-moisturizing options in a wide range of flavours/scents (including: {banana & chocolate rum - limited edition}, coconut, mint, vanilla, citrus kick, wild berry, pineapple-mint, cherry, grape, green apple and unflavoured).

These products retail on their website for $3.49 a piece or $12.00 for a 4-pack with free shipping over $15.00 in Canada.

Will I re-purchase? Yes: If I ever have to. Right now I'll be working through 10 of these AMAZING balms, and YOU can have the chance to as well!

I'm teaming up with Julie from Swatch and Review for a GIVEAWAY (see her review HERE).
